As Australia's first dedicated (pregnancy) sculpture studio, we've been helping mothers preserve this special moment since 2021. Our bespoke bump sculptures capture your pregnancy in beautiful detail, creating a meaningful piece you and your family can treasure forever.
We are based in Brisbane, Queensland, within Maia Mothers Collective in Ascot, and regularly host pop-up sculpting events in Melbourne and Sydney, making it easy to book your session wherever you are. Each sculpture is carefully prepared, crafted, and packaged locally in Brisbane by our team of mama's who understand just how special this season of life is.

BOOK YOUR APPOINTMENT
You can easily check our availability through our online booking system. To secure your appointment, a $100 deposit is required, which will be subtracted from the total cost. You will be charged 50% of the balance at your appointment when you've made your material and size selections. The remaining 50% payment will be due when your bust is finished after 3-5 months.
It's advisable to schedule your session between approximately 32 and 36 weeks of pregnancy. However, we can capture your bump at any stage.
If you're expecting multiples, you may want to arrange your appointment earlier.
In the event that you discover us at the last minute, kindly reach out to us directly, and we will do our best to accommodate you as soon as possible.

DURING THE APPOINTMENT
During your appointment, you'll have the opportunity to meet Libby (the owner of SETT&MAXE), Holly or Marissa.
This session will give you the chance to experience our collection firsthand, allowing you to see, touch, and hold the pieces. It's also the perfect time to address any questions you might have.
We will guide you through various poses that are possible, and once you've made your selections, we will initiate the photography session, which typically takes just a few minutes. During this process, you'll stand very still while we photograph you. It is a standard camera and poses no harm to either the baby or the mother.
For optimal results, it's recommended to conduct the scan without wearing underwear. However, if you're not comfortable with that, you can wear seamless and light-colored underwear.

CREATION OF THE ARTWORK
Following the appointment, we take your file and prepare it for the production process. Your sculpture will be completed in roughly 3-4 months for a Classic sculpture and approx. 5 months for a bronze cast, locally in Brisbane by a team of Mama's.
Your beautifully packaged artwork will be sent directly to your home address, where you can choose the perfect spot in your nursery, bedroom, or living room.

Hello and welcome,
I'm Libby, mum to two beautiful rainbow babies and founder of SETT&MAXE. What began as a career in interior design evolved into a passion for creating meaningful, deeply personal artworks that celebrate life's most significant moments.
In 2021, during my second pregnancy, I felt a strong desire to preserve the beauty and emotion of that chapter in a way that photographs alone couldn't capture. I wanted a tangible keepsake—something I could hold onto long after pregnancy had passed. That vision led to the creation of SETT&MAXE, and I am proud to have been the first to offer this specialised bump sculpting service in Australia.
Since then, we have had the privilege of capturing hundreds of women across Australia, including Chloe Fisher, Steph Claire Smith, and many other incredible mothers. While pregnancy sculptures remain at the heart of what we do, we are also honoured to create pieces that commemorate other transformative journeys, including pre/post-mastectomy bodies, health milestones, and personal achievements.
At SETT&MAXE, we believe every body tells a story worth preserving. Each sculpture is individually crafted using a blend of advanced 3D technology, traditional hand-finishing techniques, and timeless bronze casting methods to create a truly unique piece of art.
