The Journey.

BOOK YOUR SESSION

Checking our availability is easy — just head to our online booking system. A $100 deposit secures your spot (this comes off your total cost). At your appointment, once you've chosen your material and size, we'll take 50% of the remaining balance — with the final 50% due when your sculpture is finished, roughly 3–5 months later.

We recommend booking between 32 and 36 weeks, when your bump is at its fullest — though we can capture it beautifully at any stage of pregnancy. Expecting multiples? It's worth booking a little earlier, as your bump may reach its peak sooner.

Found us later than you'd hoped? Don't stress — reach out directly and we'll do everything we can to fit you in.

DURING YOUR APPOINTMENT

You'll be welcomed by Libby, Holly, or Marissa — whoever's running your session that day.

This is your chance to see, touch, and hold our sculptures in person. Ask any questions on your mind. Get a real feel for what your own piece could look like.

We'll guide you through a few pose options, and once you've found the one that feels right, we'll start the scan — it only takes a few minutes. You'll simply stand still while we capture you. It's a completely standard camera, safe for both you and your baby.

For the best result, we recommend going without underwear during the scan. If you'd rather not, seamless, light-coloured underwear works well too.

CREATION OF THE ARTWORK

Once your appointment wraps up, we take your file and begin the real work — this is where craft takes over. Every sculpture is made entirely by hand, right here in Brisbane, by our team of mama's. We source only the best quality materials from across Australia, because a piece like this deserves nothing less.

This isn't something that can be rushed. A Classic sculpture takes roughly 3 months, a bronze cast around 5 — every stage given the time and care it needs to get right.

When it's finished, your beautifully packaged piece is sent straight to your door — ready to find its spot in the nursery, the bedroom, or wherever you want to see it every day.

Are you ready to celebrate yourself?

Holly, PHOTOGRAPHY LEAD

Holly’s journey with SETT & MAXE started as a client, capturing her own pregnancy before becoming a mama to her little boy. Having experienced a session herself, she brings a beautiful warmth and understanding to every appointment, helping each mama feel comfortable, celebrated and completely at ease.

Libby, FOUNDER

SETT & MAXE began with Libby’s own pregnancy and a simple idea — that this chapter deserved to be captured in a way you could actually hold onto. With a background in interior design and an eye for form and detail, she turned that idea into Australia’s first dedicated pregnancy sculpture studio. As a mama to two rainbow babies, she knows just how fleeting these moments can be.

Marissa, PHOTOGRAPHY LEAD

Marissa is a mama to two little boys and knows firsthand just how quickly these seasons pass. She brings a calm, warm presence to every session, making each mama feel comfortable and cared for while capturing a chapter of their story to hold onto forever.
