Right now, your body is doing something it will never do in quite this way again. We think that deserves more than a photo.

Using a blend of modern technology and the time-honoured art of bronze casting, we craft a sculpture of your bump — captured exactly as it is, in this exact season of your life. Every curve, every stretch, every version of you that got you here.

We also create sculptures for other meaningful moments — like a bust before mastectomy surgery, or another health journey worth honouring — because some bodies deserve to be remembered exactly as they were.

You can choose a printed or bronze-cast sculpture, each one hand-finished to bring out the finest detail. If you're booking for pregnancy, we recommend 32 to 36 weeks, when your bump is at its fullest — though we've captured beautiful bumps at every stage.

Because every piece is hand-made and completely one-of-a-kind, you may notice small variations in colour and texture from one sculpture to the next. We wouldn't have it any other way — those little imperfections are what make it unmistakably yours.

The Classic.

Timeless, refined, unmistakably yours. Available in white or charcoal, this sculpture is crafted from eco-friendly material and finished with several hand-applied layers of paint for a smooth, luxurious surface. At approximately 0.5 kg, it's substantial enough to feel like the treasure it is — a beautiful everyday reminder of a moment that once was.

  • SETT & MAXE has been creating bespoke body sculptures in Australia since 2021, making us the original studio to bring this concept to Australia.

    Since then, we’ve photographed and sculpted thousands of women, men and families, each with their own unique body, story and reason for creating a sculpture.

    Years of experience have allowed us to perfect our process — from capturing the body through 3D scanning to refining, sculpting and finishing each individual piece. We know how to work with different body shapes, curves, poses and details to create a sculpture that feels both incredibly personal and beautifully considered.

    What started as a new concept in Australia has grown into years of expertise, countless sculptures and a process we’ve refined with every single person we’ve had the privilege of capturing.

  • Absolutely. Every sculpture is created from an individual 3D scan, making it a one-of-a-kind artwork that could never be replicated from a generic mould or template.

  • Yes. During your session, you’ll be able to see and feel our range of finishes and samples in person, so you can get a true sense of the colour, texture and overall look before making your decision.

    Our Classic sculptures are available in our signature soft, matte finish in White or Charcoal, while our Bronze sculptures can be finished in a range of beautiful patinas and plated finishes.

    We always recommend seeing and feeling the samples in person — colours and finishes can look quite different on a screen, and choosing the one that feels right to you is part of the experience.

  • Our sculptures are available in three sizes: Small (15cm), Medium (17cm) and Large (20cm). The proportions and detail of your sculpture remain beautifully balanced at every size.

  • The beauty of a handmade sculpture is that it is a piece of art, not a manufactured object. Small variations in texture, colour or finish may occur and are part of the character of the making process.

  • Each sculpture is individually made to order and goes through a carefully considered, multi-step process. These pieces are not mass-produced or fabricated — every sculpture is individually refined, finished and quality-checked by hand.

    We take the time to preserve an exceptional level of detail and ensure your sculpture is beautifully finished from every angle. Our Bronze sculptures also go through the traditional casting process, which is delicate and time-intensive.

    Classic sculptures generally take around 3 months, while our Bronze sculptures take approximately 4–5 months. The process can vary slightly depending on the production, casting and finishing stages.

    We believe the wait is part of what makes the final piece so special — this is a bespoke work of art, made specifically for you, not something that comes off a production line.

  • Absolutely. While we have our signature SETT & MAXE styles, we also love creating something completely personal to you.

    Over the years, we’ve created sculptures incorporating grandparents’ hands, breasts, existing belly casts and other meaningful elements. Because every piece is individually created, there’s room to explore ideas that are unique to your story.

  • We recommend displaying your sculpture somewhere dry and away from direct sunlight, excessive heat and moisture. For cleaning, gently dust with a soft, dry cloth and avoid abrasive or chemical cleaning products.
